Editor's Review & Recommendation
Looking at SiteGround from the a typical consumer’s point of view I am both excited and yet disappointed at the same time.
The company passed 2,000,000 mark in hosted domain on March 2019 and is now one of the biggest hosting providers in the world. Their performance is certainly top notch and having an excellent customer support team simply makes that even better.
Yet from this perspective I also feel that their renewal prices are a little high for me to swallow.
There is a caveat though.
If you need this kind of top-notch performance, SiteGround is as good as gold since to be honest this level of service is hard to find, even in a market inundated with web hosting providers. Developers may also take some issue as many of their shared plans are quite limited in that sense.

SiteGround Might not be the best for newbies
SiteGround’s high cost of entry might be a bit of a turn off for newbies and those running non-commercial blogs. In addition to that, sign-up discounts are only applicable to the first year of your contract. You will pay regular rates for anything beyond the first year.
However, if you have got the cash to spare and simply want the best in performance – this is the place to sign up. This is particularly true if you have the intention to grow your site for any kind of reasonable traffic volume.
Although the sign-up process for SiteGround is quite atypical – you simply select the options you want then pay for it they do have a bonus for WordPress users. SiteGround has a specific WordPress Starter Plugin to help those on the platform streamline the site building process.
