000WebHost Review Summary
Where many web hosting services often must skew their marketing to fit an industry niche, 000WebHost has the distinct advantage of being the ‘budget’ arm of Hostinger. This gives them enormous power to target a specific market and focus their technologies on this sector. The result is a fantastic sandbox experience that users can use to grow.

Editor's Review & Recommendation
Having used web hosting for a very long time and experienced so many providers, it was at first challenging to evaluate 000WebHost. It focuses highly on the ‘new to the industry’ segment which is an excellent place for it to be – helping Hostinger onboard new customers.
This process gives newbies a great opportunity to experience the web hosting environment first-hand. Unlike the all-in-one spoon-feeding process at website builders like Weebly, 000WebHost is more of a steppingstone to real web hosting.
The result is a very good introduction to many with a decent amount of resources to start off. For those that prefer to stick to the 000WebHost brand there is some room to grow. Once you outgrow shared hosting however, you’ll need to migrate to Hostinger or elsewhere.
For Newbies and Individual Bloggers
This is the core focus group that 000WebHost targets and it has the ingredient to make the experience a memorable one. You get to see what a real web hosting service is like and more than rough resources to get going. The reason why most bloggers will also be comfortable here is that, and the fact you can auto-install WordPress.
For Freelancers and Small Businesses Owners
Freelancer and small business owners may find some use at 000WebHost since there are no ads imposed and the room to grow a little bit. Unless you’re planning to grow a dynamic site, what they have is mostly fine. Two issues do crop up for business owners though. The first is the lack of a free SSL certificate.
The second – and more concerning – is limited bandwidth which may lead to website downtimes, not ideal for a business. There are also almost constant pop-ups and notices everywhere on 000WebHost trying to get you to upgrade your plan.
For Online Shops
Putting it plainly, 000WebHost isn’t even looking towards the eCommerce scene, it isn’t meant for that. Online store owners will have to look elsewhere for a viable solution, perhaps even to 000WebHost’s parent company, Hostinger.
For Agencies and Developers
Again, there is little here to recommend 000WebHost to developers and agencies. There simply aren’t much in the way of features or support for this group of users. Aside from the custom cron jobs, you can’t even upgrade to a VPS plan to install development environments for yourself.
Perhaps one of the simplest onboarding processes I have seen to date, 000WebHost will let you in and running a site so quickly that it’s almost alarming. Simply sing up and use their guided site builder tool and there is almost instant gratification.
Given its target market, this is an excellent strategy and should prove useful as a pathway into web hosting for those who are new to the experience. The website builder can be a little glitchy but not cripplingly so. Most new users will hardly notice anything wrong with it.
Overall, it is a seamless and pain-free experience. If I were to start of with 000WebHost, there is a likely chance I’d be happy enough to move on to Hostinger when I outgrew what this place has to offer.
